My lil brother, aka Mr Chatter-non-stop box, has been unusually quite around these days. He does a good amount to reading on his own; currently the Bible. Alas, peace and serenity at home. I'm lovin it.

2009 is said to be a though year. Has the worst is yet to come? Me thinks I'm starting to feel the pinch already. Well, in terms of studies, I barely have the time to revise and CA1 is next week. Boohoo, hear the cry of this hapless person who is deemed a smart and hardworking girl by society, only when she studies. Who's life evolves around school and work. What kind of idiot would want a life like that?

Back to topic, my Dad's not spared from it either. He's got a nasty boss who bites. No, chomps. Seeing him so stressful only makes me wanna stay young forever. I wish ah. Got 'O' levels ahead of me.. According to my Dad, he's got unrealistic and humanly impossible goals to achieve this year. *sigh* "So help us God"

If you're wondering what I'm currently aiming for after 'O's.... I would very very much want to clinch a place in a ploy. Followed by getting into mass com - (photo)journalism. Then eventually, i aspire to have a job that pays me to travel to exotic places around the world to snap pictures :)) Awesome.

I wonder if there are SLRs in heaven.

Happy Valentines Day to all you people out there. Make love, not war!

Because I have finally found issues to blog about, and because it's the eve of 'Break-Someone's-Heart' Day, I shall wake my blog from it's seasonal hibernation. Don't get me wrong, I love Valentines day. St Valentino was a genius to commemorate this day. But why 'Break-Someone's -Heart' Day?

Simply because while all the affectionate people go all out to spread the love among their friends, there is always that unfortunate person quietly waiting on his/her own. Waiting to be acknowledged. Hoping to share some joy. Maybe. Just maybe, someday someone will send that person a note?
As sad as it seems. It happens.

Uh. This is getting to emo! Anyway, I can't believe I've forgotten about V-day. First time! This morning I felt very weird going to school without that paper bag filled with chocolatescandieslovenotes.etc... At least it was better going empty handed, than coming back with nothing. haha.

Shit. I'm I really that busy to forget about Vday?? OH-NO! (sounds like Gracia) I think I'm becoming one of those no-life Singaporean kids D: oh-noooo. I either go home everyday because of tuition or homework, or stay back in school for CCA. Huh, I'm actually quite busy leh :( This would explain my disappearance on msn too. AND therefore I didn't stop blog purely out of laziness. It was my busy&boring life. Blame the government! Blame MOE! Blame... blame yourself if you still don't know why S'poreans are pros at complaining.

Argh. I miss sec 3 life. I used to hang out with DAR (outside sch) at least 3 times a month, during hols, and special occasions, ... Then it reduced to special occasions.. And now I make an effort to meet them every morning before assembly and during recess. Aiyo..

Looking forward to the Valentines Day BBQ dinner after youth meeting to tomorrow :)

Hey wow, I'm updating my blog. Hm, I wanna change my blog skin. It's cute, but too cheery.

Okay, it's 2009... 'O' levels are around the corner!!! Nooo time flies too fast :( Last year's sec four pure Bio had 100% distinctions and 100% passes for Chinese. Wow... Alamak, my sec three stuff are lying in the basement cardboard. Need to revise! Don't play play!

I was looking though some of the old photo albums and came across those with the church people in it. Can't help but smile (and laugh). We were so cute back then... Nicole looked like an ang-moh baby cause she was so fair and chubby. Samuel had a chipmunk face hahaha. And then compare the past to now, it's amazing how much Xp can grow.

I miss 2007 & 2008 :(

Ahh yes, DAR. Miss being in the same class as them. It's so different in 404, but yet fun and special.
I miss LiveWire too. Not that I'm leaving, but I know that things are changing and it's going to be very different.

Netball! ..The chalet was more fun than I thought. On the first day Clara and I pushed Glenda into the pool. Haha. On the second day Germaine and I spent more than two hours at some island building sand sculptures (and one big foot)

YAWN. yes i'm back and tired.
Well, hello again. I guess I do have lots to blog about like Myanmar & Youth Retreat and all the drama and mayhem that occurred. I'm sleepy now but I'll try stay awake for awhile more.

Apart from it being the first awesome experience at Myanmar, it was quite hectic and rushed as well (compared to the other mission trips). Us:Joan Avy Sam n I, being with Uncle Siow Hui's family was very entertaining. Everyone went either high or hilarious (Avy bullied me okay). Played 'Hearts' every night at Sedona since Xp taught us on the first day. Oh, and I can't forget that lame Indiana Jones advertisement. It's soo lame, that it becomes damn funny. Plus we would all stand in front of the tv at the hotel lobby and watch and crap about it everyday.
Not forgetting the kids at the orphanage, they are 10 times more lovable than S'pore ones! Their love for other people and God is so sincere that you can't help but love them back. Dancing, praise&worshiping, playing, etc was fun with them (they're ages are around 3 to 10 btw) Man I miss them :( Those cheeky people.

SO MUCH TO DO. so little time.
I've gots a bombastic load of photos to get from different people regarding Beijing, Myanmar, Youth retreat, Netball chalet etc... *uggghh*

There's been issues going on lately. One which affects me and it's worrying. Honestly I don't really know how to help but at least I can be more sensitive towards em.

OK, so continuing from where I've stopped... yea I've said it all. That's about it for China. Not that the trip was boring or anything, fun stuff do happen but.. fine, it was kinda boring. And you know what made it boring?? THE PLACES THEY BROUGHT US TO DAMN IT. *phew* there I said it. Feels good to get it of my chest. wahaha. The people in the tour was fine, the food was reasonable, hotel too. But why did they bring us to all those places??? Palace of dead emperors, an 'empty' stadium filled with tourist

Dear God, please forgive me for making it seem like i'am a spoilt and ungrateful child who can't appreciate going on a holiday to China. It's not that I'm ungrateful, but.... from my point of view, i repeat, from my point of view, historically-heavy kind of tours ain't my thing. I prefer doing more adventurous stuff during holidays. That's why I was very upset when the skiing was cancelled cos got not enough snow =.= grrr ... Anyways the trip wasn't that bad. Just abit dull. I'd rate it 3 stars. ( btw, i would have rated my previous trip to korea and austraila 4 - 4 1/2 stars). Thanks for giving me the opportunity to go to China as it was my first time, though i dont plan on going back. Amen.

I think I should stop blogging now. It's 12.47 am. It's late and the more i type the more nonsense i'll type. No the prayer was for real. Yea but I sense the nonsense coming. Like now. haha.

(2nd dec) Btw, i was at sentosa just now. Netball chalet. It was more fun than I thought man. Clara and I even got to push Glenda in the pool. haha. Aw Glenda don't be mad. And I'll be going back tmr. I have this policy: never share the bathroom with more than 4 people unless it's really really really important. Esp if it's not in my house. Sorry la but i'm quite particular over bathroom cleanliness x)

Then after dinner at Vivo with Fatum we took the mrt home together and chatted about how much we hate Miley Cyrus. *pukes* She's such a wannabe bastard who doesn't know that we all don't like her. And maybe some pretend to. ha. I hate you Miley. You can't bloody dance and you know that ACDC is much much better than your stupid "dance crew". So why don't you do the right thing and announce to the whole wide world that ACDC is the rightful winner of that dance competition between you two. In fact, you don't need a competition to know which dance crew is better. ACDC! DUH.

AC DC is a famous dance crew in USA and they have thousands of members. Including celebrities like Chris Brown, Adam Sandler, Amanda Bynnes and Britiney Snow. That's how famous they are. Plus, they were the people who choreographed Step Up 2. Wow.... Go AC DC! Boo M&M crew!

Hello and welcome back to Singapore Tabi! (yes it's very late to say this cause i came back from china days ago but never blog) If you're waiting for me to blog about my china trip or post all the photos I've taken, too bad! i'm not gonna. ahaha. You expect me to be so patient and load 100+ photos and blog down those juicy details? nah. BUT, i will show u the photos if u want me to and i'll tell you aaalllll about the trip. Until you get sick of it.... Actually there's nothing much to talk about it except that the toilets are horrid, squatting, no toilet paper, cold tap water..people smoke everywhere.. the breakfast is the same everyday.. the beijing duck is disappointing. s'pore one taste better.. my experience at those bargain-type of "shopping malls" was traumatising(u can ask me more about that haha).. the temperature gets warmer each day(which is not suppose to happen)... the skiing trip was freakin cancelled :(( so they brought us to see more palaces of freakin dead emperors

Went for netball today. This time wearing shoes, but didn't got to play yet though. Haiz my toooee... Getting in-grown nail is so sickening man. Got it last year and had to go for surgery (so scary ah! I was awake when the doc was cutting stuff outta my toe >.< ) And I'm really hoping I don't have to go through that again this year. How to wear shoes with a big ugly bandage wrapped around my toe tell me? I was getting sick of wearing slippers to school alrdy. So anyway, thank God it's getting better. Much better than before.

Remember my cute lil neighbour who likes Josiah? She's very sweet okay. (Unlike my brother. tsk jerk) She goes to the fence quite often just to see Jo. And today she painted a picture and gave it to him. Last time she gave him something too, can't remember what, but Jo hasn't done anything for her yet =.=

HI long time no see. Still remember me? Actually I was quite lazy to blog. BUT since exam over, got nicer things to blog about, so blog ah ;)

First to swensens, then to the cinema. Watched Eagle Eye cause our hard core Shia LaBeouf-fan (rena) wanted to. Not bad lah, quite exciting. Action non stop though.

Yay! Rollerblading! Rena, Amanda and I were Dawn's coaches. And we passed for it :) Before that we played at the arcade. Amanda- DDR (dance dance revolution), Rena- shooting badies (her new found talent), Me- shot some hoops (could have made it pass the 2nd level! :( ) , Dawn- some shooting game that caused her leg crams after playing xD

OMG to all you girls/ladies out there, PENELOPE is a must watch!!! xD You'd be replaying the kissing part again and again! Just so you know, it's not a very intimate or dirty kissing scene. In fact the reason why I liked that part was because it was very very sweet (aww..)

Why does something you enjoy doing be so time consuming? Like ~~sleeping~~ napping. Haha I love dozing off on my living room couch man. It's my monday/tuesday routine :P Spent last night trying to cram some chem stuff (the mole and chem cal. the worst everrr!!!) into my head while freaking out over the phone with Lotty. And l lost 8/20 marks from chem test, which went whoosh! and down the drain... Oh well. It is, the mole and chem cal.

Psst! Did I say I was on a mission to get fat? Hehhehh ^^ Eat, sleep and dont excerise! Like what I'm doing now (drinking milk with cookies :D then to bed). Haven't been going for netball for a while le. Due to other better reasons too lah. But I'm loosing my tan and I've got to get it back. Haiz. Not so easy to gain a kilo over a week you know... Hm. I wonder how to divert the fats to certain parts of my body xD

It's amazing how God can work in someone's life and ultimately change a person. I know of friends who are going through that right now. They didn't say it though. I could just tell.

Just came back not too long ago, from CIP at night cum lantern fest thingy with old-folks in the school. Yea! I CAN SPEAK HOKKIEN now :)) and soon maybe learn to swear. hahaha. Fine, I only know a few words. But at least the aunties and uncle understood. I think.

This is classic. I tried talking an old woman about something in mandarin (cos we were told they speak dialect), then she replied in english "I don't know what you are saying" AIYOH. malu. So anyway I found out from her that she goes to church, and that was pretty much it. -.-

Being in school at night is damn fun ah. Carlotta, Carlotta (KK!!). You ah, so funny. Lotty and Shimei learned that I can become quite high at night xD And Dawn and Rena learnt that too at sec 2 camp. Hehheh. And Sammy, my dear sister, either suffers at night or become high like me :D

Hello people! I'm back again. Finally. Just finished Amath and Emath paper. Amath's killer like it's always been so i'm just hoping to pass. Dying to actually, cause I've never passed any Amath paper before :-/ Lah yah I know I not very good. As for Emath, I want that A :)

Setting up a game booth for the children's day party/carnival in church!!! Together with Dawn and Sam. More help would be good. Any volunteers? Wanted to play the first game we had on mind which was a human-target board thingy. Cut holes in the board and stick your face, hands and leg through it. Quite fun cos you get to drench the person's facehandslegs with a water gun. BUT that would be too much work, so gotta change the game :(

So rare that the Central Saanich dog recently graced the New York Times. She also had several of her photos shown on The Today Show, all because of a rare genetic mutation that has led to her being the Incredible Hulk of dogs.
Wendy is a 27-kilogram rippling mass of muscle. Forget the so-called six-pack stomach: Wendy has a 24-pack. And the muscles around her neck are so thick, they look like a lion's ruff.

"People have referred to her as Arnold Schwarzenegger," says doting owner Ingrid Hansen, stroking Wendy's sleek black coat and white chest.
Wendy was recently part of a genetics study done in the U.S. on mutation in the myostatin gene in whippets, which resemble greyhounds in appearance. The National Institute of Health study reported that whippets with one single defective copy of the gene have increased muscle mass that can enhance racing performance in the breed, known for speeds up to 60 kilometres an hour.
But whippets with two mutated copies of the gene become "double-muscled," like Wendy. It has been seen before in one human, and also in mice, cattle and sheep, says the study.
The uber-muscled whippets are called "bullies," not because of their nature -- Wendy likes nothing better than a good back scratch and isn't shy about sitting in your lap to ask for one -- but because of their size. She's about twice the weight of an average whippet, but with the same height and small narrow head -- and the same size heart and lungs, which means she probably won't live as long as normal whippets.
Hansen has had Wendy, now four, since she bought the dog from a Shawnigan Lake breeder when she was eight months old.
Wendy landed in clover. She lives on an acreage, runs around with other dogs and horses, sleeps on Hansen's bed and pretty much anywhere else she wants to.
People are often afraid when the muscle-bound dog runs up to them on her dainty whippet-thin legs, but they soon realize she's friendly, Hansen said.

Here's to my Patch/Patches/Patchie. Man I miss petting her and chasing her around the garden. Spoiling her with rabbit tid-bits and alfalfa... :( From what I heard, it's quite sad she died after before she could give-birth. I bet most of you are thinking "since when Tab's got a pet?" About a year or two back, we gave her to Auntie Audrey so take she'll be better taken care of. Not that we abuse Patch or anything like that. Simply we just didn't have much time and Auntie Audrey is supposedly better and experienced. She has parrots, terrapins and a dog in her house. Wow. And occasionally this cat visits her house.

Looks like this particular post is dedicated to animals. So before I say Adious Amigos, I'd like to end off by saying: STOP ANIMAL CRUELTY. Last night english class's topic was on this, and I hope to write a damn good essay.

Just so you'all know, animal abuse/cruelty comes in the form of : Product testing for cosmetics and household products (Eg: Loreal. Avy! Change your shampoo brand!) , animal fights (Eg: bullfights and cockfights) , Flims and videos (sadistic ones. Omg Happy Tree Friends!!! sick sick sick >.< ) , poaching , sale of exotic animals and animal parts in the black market , killing animals for their fur , delicacies , cloning and genetic engineering , and the most common pet abuse.

From roasting gorillas in Africa, to electrocuting the life off an innocent critter to get it's fur... I've got a long list of other forms of animal torment in my english class worksheet, but I shan't blog. How sick and heartless can mankind get?

haha. I'm kinda bored lah. How I wish I could have this specialawesomemagical remote that can rewind all the fun and memorable stuff in the past few years of my life. And maybe add pause, stop, and fast forward buttons to the remote to skip those horrid moments. (And shut some annoying people up. cool...) Has anyone of you watch Click? The movie was damn nice ah, and hilarious too. I nearly cried at the part where the guy "died" man. Turned out it was JUST A DREAM. but the remote seemed quite real.

I have got a date with my dad later (father-daughter bonding time lah!) to my favourite desserts! :) Hey Rena, we'll watch Dark Knight k sooner or later k? haha. Aww that girl has been telling me she feels we need more bonding time. Make that a date :)

Okay I know it has been decades since my last post and that's because I've got nothing much to say? So take your time reading this post cos I dont think I'll be blogging much alrdy.

I'm sick of this blog skin. So boring, what it needs is a splash of colours!

Ahem. I LOVE 304! hahaha really. I think this class is quite united unlike 206 where the class was divided into 2 cliques (no offense to anyone). 304 always has some kind of entertainment. Especially with crazy people like Diane SueYuan Melanie etc.... Then there's the teachers with fierce but hilarious personalities. Like when Mrs K gets mad it's damn funny. Oh yea, and we do play pranks. One time during chem we hid behind the walls and tables, closed the door and windows and offed the lights before KLF came in. So she walked pass and went to look for us else where. ha! precious minutes of chem gone...
And recently, Chermaine brought her rat to class and it ended up stuck to the ceiling; twice. haha gross lah. The black rubbery thing was dangling down from there and someone had to scrape it down with a dust pan. So now our white ceiling has two black spots.

Eating ritter sport now. Couldn't stop myself from finishing more than half the chocolate bar. It's sooo good "with crispy-crunchy cornflakes" inside. I think it's from Germany :P I LOVE RITTERSPORTTT!

sigh. Stupid chem pulled down my awesome bio marks. Not happy.... Currently learning sec 4 geog which will tested in Ca3. Topic's on FOOD ( yea I like :)) some of you would know I can't resist food)

TGIF! School was a bore. More than half of the class didn't come to school today cos those were the performing arts people who had rehearsals for EMDD. Other classes were the same. 3/6 was the worst man. If i'm not wrong only 10 people from their class showed up. So yea, lessons were pretty much empty empty. Oh, and quiet for once!

Don't know why but I'm looking forward to tmr's youth meeting. Oh yarr! I just remembered I have my Experiencing God to do. Shucks. Hope I don't forget again. haha.

Just now I got my first taste of plucking mangos from a tree. Actually I just plucked one. Neighbour's house. haha... No lah Mom, Dad and I didn't steal that bag.... The mangos are damn huge and heavy lah. Yuummm :))

I hate last days of hols and first days of school. It always sucks.

Tried napping(haha do I sound like a baby?) in class today but couldn't cos I couldn't seem to find a comfortable spot on my desk, and the class was too noisy as usual. Gahhh. So hard struggling to keep awake lah. Summore Pang's sermon was so draggy. Test of endurance man.

After school went over to bubble tea shop with Dawn to get some chicken drumsticks. Then this bunch of st pats guys came over to the same shop... Sorry lah, but I really don't like being around those people. One of the guys was like "fucking" throughout his whole conversation with his frens lah. Damn annoying. Counted more than ten Fs in the convo. If they can't say those words, I guess they'll have nothing much to say afterall...

Church Camp & Outing to Sentosa! As for Church Camp go see Joan's blog (or Michelle or Samuel or Avy or Joel. Tim's blog dead). She's got almost everything you need to know about it, pictures and all... Oikios outing wasn't quite what I expected (thank God for that). Apart from the fun, it was quite interesting... Cheeky, sarcastic, hilarious, candid, random and drop-dead tiring should sum up the whole day. I need not say much here cos some of you will probably hear about it from ppl in my oikios grp some time...

What did we do? Luge, Skyride: We learnt something about Kenneth during that moment. haha that guy ah.. Beach: played frisbee, dug up the sand, soak in water (yuck. damn salty), oh and I got burried (not a very comfortable experience). Cineblast: Aiyah, so-so. Most of us got split up. The only thing I liked was the rocking seats. (Batman ride at GoldCoast vry nice!). Underwater World: This was one of the better ones :) I think the fishes got attracted to my hand in the touch-pool was becos I had my nails painted. Multi-colour! hahaha. Oh and the stingrays are cute man. Pink dolphin show: Been there, done that. I was frying under the hot hot sun :(
After dinner at vivo we gathered to make plans for the next outing. Fast eh. Can't wait :D All the outings so far left me rather tired at the end. Well what do you think? With Xiao Wen's love for adventure and Sarah's wild ideas..... You should know the rest ;) At the end of the day, we went home either sleepy, burnt or chow-tah (haha Dawn!). Wish I could show you pics but I haven't uploaded them yet.

So much to do, so little time!! I'm suppose to be doing my hmwk now. BUT, then came along this computer and my dead blog's waiting to be revived. So yea. Sorry Joan. hahahaha. Hey I did do lit this morning and afternoon you know...

The event turned out better than before. Two souls saved, heaven rejoyces! :) Amanda came as well as Andrew. The dinner was good, esp the burgers. And the wedges were wiped out before I could go for a second round. Wished I could have eaten more
A big big thank you to all who helped me with the decoration! Paid off yea? Since it took quite some time and effort with the deco, I'm not gonna take it down soon. Let them beautify the place. haha but sadly the lights along the stairs was taken down so fast :(

This June is going to be a dull one :( Considering my midyr results are horrid. Gah. First week of june is already booked extra Amath and Chem lessons. Woke up rather drowsy today, thanks to another long and deep late-night conversation I had with Joan over the phone. It started on msn, then I decided to call her instead to chat and discuss some stuff. And the conversation eventually ended at around 2.30 am. It's really tiring to lie on the bed at night with the phone pressing against your ear for 2 hours. But honestly, this is one of the things I enjoy doing with her :)

It happens every now and then during the hols. Our convos usually include catching up, some deep stuff, a pinch of gossip, a few surprises that'll make me go "omg...really?!" a bunch of nonsense, and a whole lota laughing~ And my poor sis would have to endure all my noise. Aha.

Ikea! Once again the cafeteria is over crowded with hungry and competitive Singaporeans. Went there last night for dinner and shopping. I'm gonna get new furniture as soon as I design a new layout for my bedroom (finally ah). I need to re-arrange the beds to make room for a new 'study' table, a mini couch (Miss my super-old one), a shelf, and this...

I love the tree-like clothes stand :) People like me who throws their clothes around need this.

I've got lots I wanna do this hol and there's only abt 5 weeks left from now before school starts. That ain't long! I yet to fill a big photo frame I bought from ikea a long time ago with pics. It's still sitting in my room unwrapped.

Tsk. Mid-years may be over...Yaay. But the studying is not... BOO. I have resorted to speaking more ~~chinese~~ mandarin in my everyday life. Haha and some people are obviously not use to that. Especially those who never or very rarely converse in mandarin with me. Once I spoke abit of mandarin to Sue and she laughed. "Gan mah?". Lol.

Deco. Yes deco! It's coming along, :) although seemingly slow. And I'll be happy when it's all done so I can sit back and take and gaze in awe our creation! (show support lah)... Nah, for sure need to make a few adjustments. Hopefully cd chips don't drop off the mini disco balls during praise and worship and fall on ppl's faces. haha... Oh crap. Curtains! I have one week to make sure it's up! I dunno how long it'll take. And one week to finish the deco as well. Aw man.

Thursday, 8/5/08 -- Ahaha. Today's the last day of my mid yrs :))

My mom must be pms-ing. She just called me annoying, didn't want to talk and went to sleep. wth??...

Omigosh, the printer beside me is psycho I tell you. It prints so loud and violently man. At first the printer print so slow, then suddenly it when "BBBRRRR!BBBRR! BBRRR!". Wah scare me sia. Then first time I saw it print so fast in my life, as if the printer was pissed with me. After violence from the printer came a moment of silence, leaving my jaws hanging. Haha okay... no seriously.

I'll never want to move to a new house. You know why? Cuz, the route to school from my house can get to see very very lovely sunrise. Oh the colours! Their so soo pretty okay. Each time we drive past the open field beside the airport, I'm greeted by God's awesome creation. I'll try to get a nice pic of the sky during the sunrise and post it. But I can't promise that you'll appreciate it like I do. *hints* my future bf can appreciate good enough alrdy. hee :)

The past week has been hectic hectic and busy busy! So yay, i'm finally here :)

I didn't do much in this year's family day compared to last years. Slacked during my shifts, bought only food and nearly got sick of eating, i passed the haunted house this time (long queue awn). But the night before the carnival I stayed past 1am to do advertisement stuff okay...

After that Dawn followed me to church and guess what? She got saved that day! New christian member to the family :D

Two more days til KC dance concert. I'm looking for a dress... and shoes... hmm, and clutch... ...

Went over to visit Nic's new house, right after having dinner with both our families together with Ps Rachel at Bedok. I was quite scared Max would dash out house to greet us, but luckily Nic was carrying him. Haha no, I'm not scared off dogs (but only if they run towards me with their tail wagging and tongue sticking out. that i don't look forward to) Nevertheless, Max's still cute although shaved... Man I really like Aunty Perlyn's bedroom toilet! It's big with a nice round tub, and her closet's inside; like her very own dressing-room!!! :D I wish I could own a toilet like that. No, the whole house! heheh. Only problem is, I'll be spending alot more time in the bathroom.
Popped over to Kenneth's room to check out his pull-up bars. Hanged on unto it a couple of times, but each time I let go like after only a few seconds :-/ I need to work my arm muscles... the top of my palms hurt alrdy and it's still red. Kenneth got blisters. oww.

This week has been very boring. I only remember sleeping til dinner time and doing homework/ studying for the past few days. Sucks big time. Coughing and sniffing.

But on the brighter note, I scored 14/15 for Bio! :D So much for not learning anything during lessons. Haha, see, it's good to take combine science. As for Lit though, i'm not looking forward to the results.

SATURDAYS and SUNDAYS ROCK

Today Xw organised another soccer game for the 'old' oikios group. And this time Tim Lim and Joel came. Guys are guys. A guy can kick a ball nicely even if he hasn't played in years. But for a girl (in this case me) there's bound to be lots of screaming. haha especially when the ball is getting closer. No lah I wasn't that scared of the ball, it's was just very exciting. very :)

You will know what i mean if you were there with me. HA. Actually it all depends on the people you play with lah. Some are entertaining to watch while some are violent.

Hiyah i want to post pics but the file's so big and at this rate it'll take forever. *sighs* I want a super-sonic computer. One that'll save me time. Cos time=money. okay i take that back...

I miss DAR! Seeing them before lessons and during recess is not enough really :( Despite the usual noisiness and all, the atmosphere in 206 and 304 is so different. I'm ripped out of my comfort zone. *sigh*.

Crap. There's bio tomorrow. Bound to sleep again. Seriously man, so far I've learnt nothing from his lessons. Absolutely nothing. That guy keeps on talking about a whole lot of unnecessary stuff that's not relevant to our syllabus. Bio is suppose to be fun! But nooo. All he does is talkandtalkandtalkandtalkandtalk.

No I wasn't lazy to update. Busy.

IGNITE = AWESOME. Man I'd really like to thank God that we were still able to get seats on the first day despite being told that it was full house. On the first day of the conference, Sue Yuan and I rushed to Paya Leba after netball to meet up with our other classmates from 304. There were 10 of us (all christians i think) who went :)) Chermaine, Annabel, Yuen Ching, Clara, Qing Yu, Belle, Carlotta, Sue, Honami and me.

Second day was with LiveWire! Not everyone came though. Sat's conference somewhat better than fri's. That's becos the praise and worship was longer, as well as the messages. Pastor Joakim is funnay! I must say, the testimonials were very inspirational. When ignite ended we went to subway for dinner. Subwaymelts rocks! hahaha.

Took the mrt with Sam to Tamps to meet my parents. Even did some last min shopping. New navy green puma shoes for Tabi :D

Yesterday there was this traffic jam at Benjamin Sheares Bridge. On the way to the esplanade our school buses got caught in in traffic. At that point quite a few people on the buses witnessed a women who was attempting to comit suicide. Police were all there. She had one leg in and out of the bridge. Shocking site man... Well in the end she didnt die but got arrested for attempting suicide =.= It's in Today's paper btw. 11 Jan pg 14.
Stupid. What's the point of comitting suicide if your life isn't gonna get any better after that?

Reached home last night at 1145 pm. Went to school today at 715. *yawn*. Tmr netball match from 8am to 11 :(

Literally one straight line xD Well maybe that's becos I haven't seen that happening in school for about two years since I came? So being seniors, DAR and I cutted the queue. Sorry lah, but if you don't there's no way you're ever gonna get food... Eh the juniors this year are mostly quite grown leh. Not many shorties.

Continuing from the super early morning walk.... the rest of the day was fine. Surprisingly I still had enough energy to last me til 1am. Our last day of water games started in church, Wacko, water hoes style, before going to the field.
Getting hit by water bombs in painful okay. really. Esp when there's rough people. Nevertheless, games was great. My favourite is bursting the water bombs with our butts hahaha.
OH. And that night's finale was hohoho so funney! Group skits were the best man. All the groups gave a twist to their original fairy-tale scrips... Little Red Riddinghood- hot wolf and riddinghood later on becomes a guy. Snow White- Macho snow white and his himbo-gay son, snowman. Goldylocks and the Three Bears- goldylocks with longlong hair with HSM songs. Hensel and Gretel- they become a couple and everyone dies... That night slept late cos everyone was snacking and telling lame jokes to pass time.

Haiz I miss camp lah. Last day ended off good :) We had our lunch served to us by our teachers/cheifs. Meals desert drinks. As well as collecting them back. Nice right?

Okay. Apart from other gifts, I got 3 necklaces this christmas and 3 addidas stuff from my relatives just now :) Thanks to all too!
Family drama just now. Really entertaining.

I have hundreds and hundreds of youth retreat pictures to get from Nicole, so pics another day... Now where can I get a 3G memory stick?

Well, the theme of this camp was Expect the Unexpected. It was definitely more fun than last year's. More games, more people, more of God :D (Haha yes, thanks to Kenneth and Michelle's marvellous planning) The first day started off with a bang! Game after game. The balloon game was needless to say the most wild and violent. Smashing, popping, running, sumo-wrestling... After indoors was outdoor games. Went to the beach where all the groups (Kia, Pia, Hiong and Chiong) competed in relays. My group Hiong/fierce, won the captain ball match :)

Everyone returned back to church wet and muddy. Bathed, dinner, worship then came the message. Our two speakers were couple Viki and Kelvin. Viki's testimony really got my attention. It's about knowing God has great plans for us. Plus she was pretty and had an Australian accent. haha.
That night I was really wiped out. A few of the girls in my room, including me, snored (sorry to those who had to da-han) So, after a tiring day you'd expect to get some goodnight sleep right? But noooo... HAHA. Suprise no.1... 4.30 am trust-walk to the beach!

Whoops gotta go. More on that next time... I have 95% of hmwk done :) yay me!

That night we went shopping at a mall but didn't buy any clothes though. I spent more than 1 hour in this shop that sells super nice note books, diaries and stuff. Since I spent so long looking at their stuff I had to buy something right? So I bought a 2008 calender and a really cute collection of stickers. Mum bought 3 presents there as well.

Man I tell you the diaries are sooo nice. Each page is like specially designed okay...

Sorry, for the wait. I've been busy lately, cramming as much time as possible to get Christmas shopping as well as my homework done. Okay, so maybe more time on the shopping. Yesterday after skit practice Joan and I went to Sarah's to help her with a prop. Then some last minute plan to shop at Bugis. And I'm happy to say that I've got 95% of the gifts done :) And I owe it to Joan cos she's the one who helped me with the shopping and decision making, Not forgetting my bank when I go broke. haha.

Oh, and Dawn came to youth meeting on Saturday. Glad she enjoyed :) Next week's my Oikios group sleep-over, followed by Christmas, then Youth Retreat! Nothing but fun Fun FUN :D

Day 2 -- Yangji PineResort

Hurray it's skkiii daayy! After breakfast we rushed off to get our ski suits, boots and ski equipment at the ski centre. Each of us had to walk in our boots and carry our ski stuff all the way out to the ski field where we met our ski instructor. Not and easy job okay. Especially when the boots are so heavy and stiff, it makes it hard to walk in.

We had to learn the basics all within an hour: How to put on and take off the skis, glide, walk up the slope, turn and brake.

Skiing's actually quite simple if you have a good sense of balance. Dad said I'm a sport person. I made it to the intermediate level on the second day :) Josiah got tired of skiing soon after the lesson. Dad already knows how to ski. As for my Mum and Sis, they took a longer time to learn.

Out of excitement I made both of them follow me up to the steeper part of the beginner's slope. Right after Mum came off the ski escalator, she fell when she started to ski.... Samantha better. She managed to ski to the bottom of the slope but dunno how to brake in time, so crashed into a barrel xD She was okay cos she was laughing. Still can say it's awesome.

Just in case you weren't able to zoom in on the 1st pic... On the bottom left you'll see the top of the 1st intermediate slope. The lower part of the middle slope is the beginner's course. And last slope on the extreme right is the 2nd intermediate course.

Day 3
Dad's right. 1 day of skiing is definitely NOT enough. That's becos you only start to learn and and practice on the first day. It's on the second day where you advance to the intermediate level. That is when thee real deal starts.

Dad and I advanced to the 2nd intermediate slope which was alot higher and steeper than beginner's. Took the ski chair up the slope and got a really nice view of the place. We had our picture taken up there before skiing down, but sadly the photo's gone now :(( First round down the slope Dad fell. Second round I fell when I saw him fall. Made a snow angel at the spot I fell haha.

Skied so much on that day that my chin went numb. Dear Sam moved on to the 1st intermediate slope that day and got a taste of riding the ski chair. The slope was rather gentle but long.

During the two nights at Yangji, we bought food and snacks from the mini mart and cooked our own dinner in our suite. After dinner we played uno, 99, heart-attack, and indian poker. It was quite fun. I taught my family to play indian poker and they all sabo me in that game. Tsk.

I'm gonna miss skiing. Hmm. Next time I wanna try snow boarding :D

KOREA~ SPARKLING!

Heello!
Flew back from Korea last night and brought back over $150 worth of food and a couple of other goodies. Despite the freezing cold weather, Korea was GREAT :) Travelled from Incheon to YangJi to Seoul, and visited quite a number of places like the Olympic Park, Gyeongbokogung Palace, Dongdaemun Market, Yangji PineResort, etc etc...
Here's the trend for girls in Korea: Short, curled hair with bangs. As for the guys: Black framed glasses... well that was what I noticed cos I saw lots of them everywhere with that similar look.

Before I continue with the rest of the posts, I've got something really depressing to share.... All of Day 1-3 pictures that was taken using my Dad's camera was somehow accidentally deleted. All 159 of them :'( including Everland and Ski photos :((((
But thank God I have at least the picture of the ski field, and a few other photos which I took using my camera...

Day 1 -- Icheon

Touchdown at dawn, all set and ready for the tour. Stepped out of the airport and was greeted by winter's cold breath. The journey to our first site had lots of nice scenary. Sunrise, trees, and mountains.... First stop: Suwon Hwaseong (fliming site of "Deajanggum". No one in my family watches Korean dramas though) There wasn't really much to see there. It's like the great wall of China surrounding a huge peice of land. Kept walking with my head in the jacket cos I didnt bring out my scarf. I was freakin cold okay. Not used to the weather yet.

Sleepy but excited

Next stop, EverLand. It was rather disappointing that not all of the rides were open. Sam and I only got to go on two rides: Championship rodeo and Eagle Fortress (a roller-coaster ride through the forest. very nice) On the brighter note, we went to EverLand's Zoo-topia. Came face to face with lions, tigers and huge grizzly bears in a bus ride through a huge enclosure. Zoo-topia has the very first hybrid of a lion and tiger (but it just looked like a white lion) There were other animals like kangaroos, beavers, perrie dogs, polar bears... etc

At the end of the day, we went shopping at Yeojun Premium Outlets before going for dinner. Dad said that their Premium Outlets is the exact duplicate of the one in America. I bought a Adidas's bag at a really good price :) that'll be one of my christmas presents. Reebok's new collection of shoes are really nice. But sadly Reebok's not popular in Singapore lately :-/
...I love LeSportsac :) It's the nice patterns that makes their products look so attractive. Unfortunately not for the price. Their wallets, bags and accessories have really lovely designs.

We skipped Termeden Spa mainly becos we would have to bathe in the common toilets (everyone bathes together and you got no privacy). Korean style bbq dinner was not bad. All together my family ate two big bowls of pork.

That night we arrived at Yangji PineResort. Sam and I had our own suite with queen size bed and kitchen. The good thing about our rooms is that it faced the ski field :) Parent's suite was next door... More on day 2 and 3 tomorrow!

30 minutes of tennis is not enough! Tennis wasn't as hard as thought, especially if your opponent plays super friendly. Manged to keep most of the balls within the court :) yay more next time k? Must make sure I really exercises and not just wack balls. k that's wrong...

Bathed and had a quick dinner before rushing off to believers music. Both of us didn't know that it was the song presentation night, so we were quite unprepared :/ choose Save Our Nation since it was the easiest song to play. Nicole was rather good leh....

Though lots of people were on holiday, yesterday's youth meeting was still F-U-N.
Timothy's dog-and-bone icebreaker game, was needless to say, rough and violent. haha.
So aunty Perlyn later changed it to LiveWire's all time favourite game.....
hop-from-chair-to-chair sissors-paper-stone game!...

My oikios group was the smallest cos Sarah didn't want to join with the other groups.
It was left with only Sarah Kenneth Darren Avy and Me. Our ice-breaker game
was hilarious, mainly becos of the penalty... So Kenneth was the first to get the penalty.
He was suppose to intrude Tim and Nat's oikios lesson and act as Hard Gay. But chickened
in the end so it didn't really go according to plan. The next penalty was the best. It has to
do with two small soccer balls. haha! damn funny...
Sarah's lesson finished quite fast thanks to her fast mouth. And since the other groups
weren't done, the five of us just stayed in our room and talked alot of crap. We had
"Mandarin" with Sarah 101. Wore these spastic looking mask that I found in the closet...
Sarah's chinese name is Shu Ting (shooting!!! bang bang!) xD

90% done with my packing. Luggage's and bags are heavy!

Anyways this one got no sub-titles, so i'll just explain... L went to pay Light a surprise visit at his school. So he wears that mask cos he wants to hide his identity from Misa. ( she has 'the eye' ) haha then when L and Misa was staring at each other, Misa was looking at L's lifespan. Then L was like " omigosh! im ure no. 1 fan! im so jealous that you (light) gets to hang out with celebrities..."

Then the part where lots of ppl are crowding around Misa, L went to pinch her butt but actually took her phone. To see if later Light will call her, which she did. haha the way L holds the phone.... Aiyah go watch the show. You'll LOVE it.

OMG. Death Note rocks!
Yesterday 3 people invaded my house and slept in the TV/ worship room. We watched
both Death Note 1 and 2 until 2am, and woke up the next day at 1130. DawnRenaAmanda.
(Duh). Got hooked after the first disc cos the story was so damn good. It was quite thrilling.

Didn't expect L and Light to die. Aiyah, so sad, Rem (white god of death) died and turned to sand :( he's my favourite lah. haha.... Rena likes L/ emo thumb-sucking guy, she calls him handsome. Lol. The way he holds stuff with only two fingers and his spastic mask is hilarious.

Thinking of Christmas already. I have no idea what to buy for anyone...

Went to Bugis street with Avy and Joan today for shopping, and now I'm broke

for the rest of this week. After we bought our lunch we were carrying our food

around the mall looking for somewhere to sit. Couldn't find any benches so we

ended up in Food Junction (food there is very ex!). Got so annoyed when I saw

'empty' tables with tissue paper packets and umbrellas on it. How much more

kiasu can ppl get man >:(

Lots and lots of shops at Bugis street, but most of the clothes aren't my type

though. Little miss shirts and tunics are really everywhere...
After that we went to Raffles City mainly because the guys, Xiao Wen, Xiao Ping,
Samuel, Timothy and Kenneth, went shopping there for their prom and Joan

wanted to go. They rich enough to shop Esprit k.

.... Done.So good to be home! Legs nearly dropped while shopping.

I wonder what my holidays are going to be like. For sure Dad's plans

are for me to work harder for next year. And mom is still waiting

for me to bake her something, preferably that peach crumble. As for

me, I'd like to make sure I do useful stuff. It's been dunno how long

since I've actually walked outside my house and around the neighbourhood.

So I'm also planning to do that. Especially to see if I can get any good

shots around the place.

Photography as a hobby :) Dad said to use a proper camera, but

my handphone's so handy. Like when I see a sunset, it's always the

first thing I grab. Too used to it already.

Those pictures were taken after our "class" dinner at Marina Square.

Loved the time there :) Dinner was good, but i don't know what the name
of the restaurant was :-/ It had Halloween theme and all the staff were
dressed-up.
I ordered Cheesy Chicken (chicken with melted cheese and slices of mango
in-between. Shiok) Oh, and the sausage wrapped in a Tortilla-like style was
even more shiokshiokshiok! So going there next time.

But we all know that already... I hate parent-teacher meetings okay. Cos the
teacher will take this chance to make you feel horrible, and my mom will be like
want to know everything. I can't make commitments. More like I break them.

You people heard of the Red House? It's supposedly said to be one of Singapore's

haunted places. And the best part is.... it's so near my house! Somewhere at

Downtown East. I'm already planning to go there. And Amanda IS gonna come. yes

u will. Anyone else wanna come?

Last time Rena kept on insisting that both of us saw the RH when we went cycling

at Downtown. She was like "Tabitha! We were right in front of the Red house, and

we said 'omg. what a ugly house... ' ". Something like that. Seriously. But I

only remember the cycling-at-night part, nothing else. weird.

It is call the 'Red House' at pasir ris near downtown east, where the bus 354 u-turn, there is a small road leading into the bungalows. Most of the Ah bengs and lians like to go there when having a chalet. i not quite sure where is it but my friends went there before and is really eerie......

Well i onlly know about red house because it is around the East area. Well i got some friends went it there before, they say there were whole lotsa mirrors and so on. i even gpt some friends got into trouble end up burning incense paper outside the house and police came, the police didi nothing but only told them to leave as soon as they finish their business. My friend also said that there were two 'Qi Ling' the chinese lions guarding outside the house, my friend will always feed the two lion by placing sweets on there mouth before going in.

(SPI: There is a rumour saying, after midnight the stone lions will turn their heads and stare at you when you pass by!)

So freaky. Summore Rena also mentioned that she saw the stone lions. (see picture!!!)

hhmm. lets go there during Halloween night. yea more fun ;)

Pontang school today. Dawn forgot to wake up so she also pontang with me. Ahaha.

Okay first, 'been away from home for 3 days due to camp, so it's good to be home.
Miss my comfy bed and clean toilet. Camp was dirty, tiring, but nevertheless fun :)
Esp the cheers! ...Dawn and I were the fastest in kayaking ok! don't play play.
